Therapies
Gentle Therapy for Various Tumor Diseases
The Cyberknife S7 System is the only image- and robot-guided radiation system offering treatments with sub-millimeter accuracy throughout the entire body.
This is made possible through motion-synchronized, AI-controlled real-time adjustment. Brain, spine, prostate, lung, liver, pancreas, kidneys, bones and lymph nodes are among the indications.
These Diseases We Treat
Diseases of the Brain & Central Nervous System
Gentle, precise therapy for benign and malignant tumors as well as nerve disorders such as trigeminal neuralgia – as an alternative to surgery.
Lung Diseases
Precise treatment of early lung tumors and metastases – tissue-sparing and non-invasive.
Spinal & Spinal Cord Tumors
High-precision treatment of tumors along the spine or spinal cord – with maximum protection of sensitive structures.
Kidney Tumors
Precise therapy for kidney tumors – without surgery.
Liver Tumors
Pinpoint radiation of liver tumors – usually in just one session.
Prostate Carcinoma
Modern, non-invasive treatment for locally confined prostate carcinoma.
Lymph Node Metastases
Non-invasive, targeted therapy for lymph node metastases.
Recurrences in Cervical Cancer
Precise, non-invasive treatment of recurrences in cervical cancer – targeted and tissue-sparing.
Frequently asked questions about the treatment
Ablative therapy procedures are local therapies. The goal is to remove or destroy only foreign tissue using radiofrequency ablation, cryotherapy, or Cyberknife radiosurgery.
Gold markers are recognized and used by the Cyberknife system as localization points in moving organs to precisely irradiate tumors in the submillimeter range. Above all, they are used to compensate for respiratory movement during treatment.
The frequency of follow-up care depends on the type of tumor:
- Malignant tumors: Every 3 months for the first 2 years and then semi-annually
- Benign tumors: 6 months after therapy and then at annual intervals.
Over 90% of our patients are treated in just a single session. For the other 10%, 3–5 sessions are scheduled, which are always completed within one week.
We do not treat children or adolescents under the age of 16. In these cases, the tumors are usually highly aggressive and require specialized treatments.
